Rocco x Callie Pups Born Jan. 16 - 7M / 2F - One Male Pup Potentially Available
Well 2020 has not failed to throw curve balls. While we had planned on repeating the breeding of Callie to Callen in October, Callie's cycle ended up being six to seven weeks late - and, unfortunately Callen fell seriously ill and has passed on. Therefore, we have chosen to use Callen's son - NAGDC / DC Odyssey's St. Rocco as the sire of this litter. This should likewise be a tremendous litter, built on the foundation of Chuck Parietti's Odyssey Kennels. Rocco is 3/8ths Hall of Fame DC/AFC/BISS Sam Saint Max, and Callie is 1/4th Sam Saint Max - so these pups will be 5/16ths Sam Saint Max.
With the sire and both grandsires of these pups being national champions, and the dam being a very competitive gundog - you can be assured that you are getting some very talented genetics in this litter of pups.

Puppy Details -
These pups will be pre-registered with AKC. New owners will receive full registration (unrestricted) rights accordingly. I encourage all new puppy owners to get involved with either AKC (such as the Gulf Coast GSP Club for people in Southeast TX), NAVHDA, or NSTRA in order to find sporting outlets to share with your new gun dog. These dogs have been bred to be great companions as well as highly competitive gun dogs.
Male Pups - $1200 picked up at the kennel ($1000 after deposit).
Female Pups - $1200 picked up at the kennel ($1000 after deposit).
Air Transport Fee - $200 (Includes crate + health certificate + additional time at kennel and transporting to airport) + Buyer to purchase airline ticket (~$300 - $350 for U.S. flight)
All the pups will have their tails docked and have their dew claws removed at around 3 days old. They will be started on dewormer, and get their first vaccination shot at six weeks of age. The puppies are born and kept in the house the first few weeks, and then will be moved to the garage when they outgrow the whelping box. They will get lots of personal attention on a daily basis. My wife and I invest considerable time in raising quality puppies for quality homes, and are committed to raising healthy pups. Breeding to Callen represents a 13 hour drive (`1-way) for me as well as several night's hotel stay. Our goal is to produce high-performing, but calm, biddable pups.
Puppy Deposit Tracking -
If you wish to reserve a pup from this litter, then a $200 deposit will hold your place in line. For transparency, I keep track of respondents here for mutual record-keeping. Preference in pick order will come from a combination of those indicating a commitment to testing their pups in either Hunt Tests, Field Trials, NAVHDA, NSTRA, etc. - as well as the order in which the deposit is made.
Deposits are refundable if the gender you desire is not available.
